FACP Action advocates for stronger federal and state animal welfare laws, greater oversight of commercial breeding operations, and meaningful enforcement of existing protections. We work to expose irresponsible breeding practices, educate the public, and push for accountability wherever animals are bred or sold to the public.
Licensed Doesn’t Always Mean Protected
A USDA license does not guarantee humane conditions. Some licensed breeders continue operating despite repeated violations, inadequate veterinary care, unsafe housing, and poor sanitation. FACP Action supports stronger oversight and real accountability for facilities that breed and sell animals to the public.
